Wow February, it is here already! It is about now that the summer holiday becomes a distant memory.
But with that comes the chance to build a routine again and an opportunity to see what exciting challenges you can plan for yourself for the next 11 months.
START WITH ONE
Don’t get overwhelmed and feel like you have to plan your whole year. Maybe try planning one thing for this month. It could be something that you need this awesome weather for and you have never tried before like surfing, wakeboarding paddle boarding, whatever you have always wanted to try but have never got round to. You could also try getting out of your comfort zone by entering into an event, trust me when I say there is always plenty of events on every month, sometimes you just have to hunt for them.
PLAN THAT FOOD
Holidays are over, but often the sugar cravings of a good summer linger longer, so try keeping a food diary and planning out your meals to help get you back into the swing of healthy exercise and nutrition, because you can’t truly have one without the other.
MAKE IT ENJOYABLE
No matter what you plan to do, make sure you enjoy it. Because if it is not fun then you won’t keep it up. So don’t be afraid to ditch something that works you hard but you don’t enjoy. Variety is the spice of life, so make it a goal to only do things you like to do.
