Healthy Coffee Choices

Did you know that drinking a mocha can be the equivalent of having a chocolate bar! That’s right, that enjoyable catch up with friends can be adding inches to our waistlines, especially if we are having them with a cake or muffin too. Try the following tips to make your cafe experience fun and not fattening!!!

  • HYDRATION – Often our bodies are telling us we are thirsty, so have a glass of water first
  • MODERATION - Try drinking no more than 2-3 cups a day – the key is moderation
  • CHOOSE TRIM – Try going for trim milk instead of full fat milk. This is a great way to reduce calories and fat without missing out, especially if your goal is to be leaner.
  • BAD HABITS – Drinking coffee can be a habit, so try going for a walk or could it just be that you are actually thirsty and as above need that glass of water!!!!
