A spin-a-thon was held in Waipu to raise money and awareness for Oxfam's Angelic Soles & local Waipu firefighters. For 12 hours more than 50 people kept spin bike pedals turning at Waipu Scout Den. Funds raised were split between an Oxfam Trailwalker Team and Waipu Firefighter Sky Tower Challenge participants.
