With lighter evenings, there is never a better time to make the choice to get out there. Whether it is walking, running, riding, surfing, playing ball outside with the kids. That extra you find every day, whether big or small will make you feel more energised and will get your summer off to a great start.

It is easier to drink more water, eat salads and we are definitely happier when those blue skies and warm sunny days become the norm. So how do we turn this summer into results?

The key is to find something you love to do that gets your body moving. And all the better if you can drag family and friends along too, as you will be more likely to keep it up. So grab the moment, challenge yourself and get more than just a tan for summer!

I have been in the fitness industry for over 6 years. I qualified as a Personal Trainer through AUT in 2006 and haven't looked back. Health and fitness is my passion and I feel privileged to be doing something I enjoy so much. Over the years I have taught numerous group classes, which include Resistance Bar, Swiss Ball, Fighting Fit, Preggi Bellies, Fit Bumps, Circuit, Body Start and Tone and Sculpt.
